-This book talks about the different ethnic groups in America and how they face racism.  This book is current as it was made 3 years ago and there haven’t really been any big occurrences in the past three years with regards to racism.  This book is written for the general public and is easy to understand.  The material in this book is really well researched as there is a good amount of evidence and the book has sourced where all the of material was found.  This is a secondary source

 
Major Problems in American History Since 1945 Documents and Essays (Major Problems in American History). Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 2006.

-This book talks about all of the major problems that have occurred in the U.S. since 1945.  The authors, Robert Griffith and Paula Baker are both well qualified, as Griffith is a professor at American University and Baker a professor at Ohio State.  This book was written in 2006 and up to date.  This is a scholarly source however it is written for the general public and is easy to understand.  This book is both a primary and secondary source as it contains primary essays and also secondary material.

-This website consists of a timeline that depicts racism over the last few hundred years.  This is a credible source that comes from one of the library databases.  Also the factual content can be backed up through research.

 -This article talks about how racism is still a serious problem in the U.S. today.  This is a credible source because the author, Joe Feagin, is both a professor at Texas A&M and an expert on modern racism.  This is a secondary source.  This article was written in 2000 so it is up to date.

-This article talks about anti-arabism in the US and reasons for why it is increasing.  The main reason why discrimination against arabs in the US is on the rise is due to the events of 9/11.

-This article talks about how Hispanics are discriminated against in the work place.  Many either are refused promotions or denied the job all together.

-This article talks about the KKK and how it has evolved throughout the years.  Now days the KKK are spread out throughout the country in small individual groups.  This is a credible source in which all the information can be backed up.
